The secluded Alpujarra Yurt Inn is set just below the charming white-washed village of Juviles. Close by is Cadiar, a bustling pretty village with shops, bank, school, medical centre, swimming pool, restaurants and bars etc.... 

Here are the best of both worlds – privacy and seclusion and yet not isolated – with the village close to hand when required for spot of shopping, a romantic diner or to meet some of the locals.

The finca contains an enormous diversity of fauna. With the local area there are an incredible array of tress – apple, pear, peach, plum, poplar (forest), oak, holly oak, almond, chestnut and olive to name just a few. In addition there are many wild flowers and other plants including wild herbs and orchids, poppies and others.

Bird lovers will find a wonderful array of rarely seen species. These included Bee Eaters, Golden Orioles, Hoopoes, owls, Golden and other eagles all often sighted around the Yurt Inn.

Walking in the vicinity is a simple delight.  Walking begins with a gentle stroll around the Yurt Inn’s woodland and terraces to something more adventurous for those who enjoy it.    

There are many walks and enough variety to suit everyone.  The Yurt Inn is situated close to the walking route  of the famous long distance walk, the GR7, which starts in Greece and ends in Gibraltar.  We can provide maps and guidebooks and transport with a walking guide can be arranged.
